Here's How the Game is Played: The MCO, who is managing your claim, just happens to have their own in-house Voc Rehab (professional term for screw you bub you'll get your job retraining when pigs fly). Commonly, the MCO, in this instance, will want to gain the employer's favor, especially if you are really FUBARRed and the cost of the claim is climbing and open enrollment is coming up, wherein the employer will have the opportunity to tell the MCO "up yours". Nonetheless, the MCO will move to posture your claim into their own Voc Rehab service, imagine that. By doing this, the majority of the cost of your claim now comes out of the "Surplus Fund" and is mostly not counted against the employer. Now there is a double incentive for the "screw you bub" MCO. The faster they can close out your Voc Rehab plan the more bonus money they get. There's a time-line and when the time runs out, no bonus for the MCO Voc Rehab company. The fastest method of closing your claim out is for you to do "Job Search".
